Lorna was born and raised in southern Saskatchewan. She has experience working with children, adults, and families in crisis in the Regina area for the last 21 years.
As a clinician, Lorna provides the space for clients to feel safe, heard, and accepted. She takes a client centered approach, meeting clients where they are at in a non-judgmental and supportive manner. She uses a variety of modalities that allows her to meet the needs of each client she works with. Lorna believes in the importance of empowering clients to be a partner in finding solutions that resonate for them, grounded in a trauma informed, culturally sensitive practice.
Clinical Practices: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Practices, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative therapy, Play/Art Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Meditation and Guided Imagery.
