Therapies Practiced:  Katelyn takes a common methods approach to therapy, where she works with you to plan your best path forward in the clinical setting. Katelyn enjoys pulling on aspects from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and cognitive processing therapy to create a mindful and trauma informed approach to therapy. She also practices with parts theory, polyvagal theory, bilateral stimulation, and somatic therapy in mind to foster the mind-body connection.

Katelyn has worked with with children, adolescents, adults and families for the last 6 years, which has taught her a lot about resilience, pain and the power of connection. Katelyn holds a special interest in the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder and secondary trauma on loved ones, especially those who are connected to police officers and first responders.

As a therapist, Katelyn is passionate, collaborative, and patient. She creates an easy-going and judgement free environment for you to share and works with you to get the most out of each session. Katelyn understands the importance of tailoring clinical practices to each person, following a client-centred approach to therapy, where together you are able to set goals and work towards completing them.

Katelyn is new to Regina. She grew up in Southwestern Ontario, went to University in Halifax, then moved to Nunavut. After Nunavut, she lived in New Brunswick for 5 years before moving to Regina. In her downtime, you will find her out on the go! She loves to get outside for walks with her family, taking the dogs to the dog park, grabbing a little treat, or even better, making little treats in her kitchen. Katelyn is all about finding what feels good in your body, and meeting those unique needs over the course of a busy weekend or quiet evening.
