I’m a Counsellor who believes that therapy should feel safe, supportive, and genuinely human. My approach is warm, steady, and down-to-earth, creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are without pressure, expectation, or judgment. I work from a trauma-informed, relational perspective, focusing on building trust and rapport with the main priority of understanding your story.  I blend practical tools with insight-based exploration so you can make sense of what you’re feeling while also learning skills that truly support you.

I have a great foundation of supporting children and youth. I believe in having fun, creating connection and hosting every session with a focus on play, uplifting encouragement and positivity. I also offer play therapy and art-based therapeutic approaches, especially for children and youth who express themselves best through creativity. These approaches can open new ways of understanding emotions, reducing stress, and accessing experiences that are difficult to put into words.

As a cancer survivor, I bring a lived understanding of the emotional impact of health challenges. I support clients and their families with navigating medical stress, chronic illness, treatment decisions, and post-treatment adjustment. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and more in control of your own story, no matter where you are in your health journey.

No matter your personal journey, in our work together, I aim to create a space that feels calm, compassionate, and attuned. Therapy with me is collaborative and client-centered. My hope is that you leave each session feeling more understood, more grounded, and more connected to your own strengths and possibilities. Together, we’ll turn challenges into opportunities for growth, healing, and lasting resilience.

Outside of this profession that I love dearly, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, reading a good book or completing a puzzle. Travelling, camping, thrifting, crafting, cuddling my dogs and hanging out with my sweet nephews are more of my favourite things.
